KTSF (Channel 26 regular or Channel 8 cable) airs a short five minute
program on Sunday nights called HELLO RESTAURANT. I have no idea
where they came up with the title. But the show gives brief profiles
of the various Bay Area restaurants.
It was aired once every two weeks. Now it is aired weekly with the
2nd,4th and 5th programs being reruns of earlier broadcasts. The
program has a website of the 110 restaurants profiled. Just do
a google search under the advanced search option using the
words Hello Restaurant. It will be the first website that shows up.
It is written in Japanese. So click on the translate option.
I am not sure if all the restaurants profiled provide great food, but
they do have a certain atmosphere and style about them.
