I suspect that many of those who call George Bush, a Hitler never
lived during the time that Hitler ruled Germany with an iron fist.
As one will note George Bush does not blame the Jews for our problems.
The so-called �anti-war� critics of Bush such as Cynthia Mc Kinney
blame the Jews and Israel. Cyndi Sheehan used code words such
as �neocon� to attack the Jews. But she was eventually caught on
camera attacking the Jews and Israel outright. Neither Mc Kinney or
Sheehan lived under Nazi tyranny.
By contrast Elie Wiesel, Jewish Holocaust survivor and writer,
encouraged President Bush to intervene in Iraq. Left wing writer
Christopher Htichens also favored intervention in Iraq. Hitchens is
not noted for having right wing credentials unless attacking Mother
Teresa is considered a �right wing� virtue. His attack on Mother
Teresa appeared in THE NATION, an old LEFT wing periodical. William
Shawcross, a critic of American involvement in Cambodia during the
Vietnam war, also favored intervention.
The critics of George Bush would not be able to speak freely if Bush
was Hitler. The news media would not be able to print or broadcast
unfavorable stories about Bush. If Bush was even Abraham Lincoln, the
press might face the threat of a shutdown, with their printing presses
destroyed. As defense lawyer Allen Dershowitz stated in his book on
terrorism: Lincoln, the great liberator was also the great
incarcerator.
If the critics of Bush really believe there were no weapons of mass
destruction (WMD), why don�t they put their money where their mouth is
and have some of the 500 artillery shells filled with sarin or mustard
gas detonated on them? It is interesting that the critics of Bush
will not volunteer to have these shells detonated on them.
I suppose the optimum solution would have been for Bush to make a deal
with the Islamic terrorists. These Islamic terrorists claim our
society is decadent. They are offended by our cinema. So maybe Bush
could say �I�ll look the other way while you kill those spoiled
Hollywood celebrities.� Just think how much trouble Bush could have
saved himself. He could have avoided war, kept gas prices low and
gotten rid of some �decadent infidels.� (My impression is that that
is what they appear to be to hard line militants.) If these Hollywood
celebrities ask �why do they hate us?� Maybe they should look in the
mirror or at least watch their own movies. If the critics of Bush
think the best course of action was to look the other way while people
got killed, why didn�t they (especially the Hollywood celebrities)
volunteer to be target practice for the terrorists? Of course one
would have to assume the terrorists would simply restrict their
killing to certain Americans, which is a bit na�ve.
There is a final irony in all this. Adolf Hitler was the head of the
Nazi Party. The Nazis are opposed to the war in Iraq, considering it
a �Jewish war.� So actually the critics of Bush and the Nazis
actually share the same �anti war� stance concerning the Iraq war.
