KTSF apparently decided to aplit the final episode into
two parts. Maybe they wanted to get more advertising in? Who knows.
But they have managed to make a one hour episode into two one hour
broadcasts. They did the same thing with the first episodel
Rather than give out spoilers, I think
I'll wait till the series concludes Feb, 4.
Of course if one wants to know what happens, one
can go to the Japanese video store or go to
garten's nodame website to find out.

I tried a mocha at Renata's Bakery and Cafe.
The owners are from the former Soviet Republic of Georgia.
But they are ethnically Armenian. I asked one of the owner's about
the name since the Renata is a German name, not
an Armenian. The bakery was named after his grandaugher.
The bakery/cafe/ store is in two different rooms. They
serve blintzes, and I think Piroshki's. I gave some of the
food to someone who works at a Japanese toy store, who is part
Armenian. He sent me an email saying he was impressed by
the food. The mocha was different. It had a nice taste to it.
Somehow there was not that coffee bitterness.

As I mentioned before, I really like the Banana Mochas of CLOVER
BAKERY. I also like some of their other goods such as fried hot dogs,
strawberry sandwiches, chow mein in a bun, and their German potato
salad on a bun.
But I should mention that Caf Adria in Cupertino serves a nice
peppermint mocha. They also serve nice omelets. I like their
Mediterranean omelets. While they do not serve sandwiches, they do
have a variety of bagels with different types of cream cheeses.
Peets, at El Paseo de Saratoga, serves a mocha, which I mix with
their nice array of condiments. Before I would get the mocha and
maybe mix in some brown sugar. But I later tried mixing in other
condiments such as nutmeg, which gives the mocha a different flavor.
And at Peets Ive run across some people who have lived interesting
lives.
