I neglected to mention that a consequence to these illegals
coming to Germany and going on welfare is higher taxes for
the taxpayers in Germany. The government has raised taxes on the
taxpayers in order to pay for the welfare of these illegals. This
is generating resentment. But people are worried about speaking out.
The news media can easily misrepresent this as "Nazism" when it is more
a matter of being taken advantage of.

I talked to someone who returned from Germany. He would probably
describe himself as more German than American.

He said that Polish and Russian illegals have been coming to Germany
and getting on the welfare roles. Unlike many of the Poles who go to
Britain and many of the illegals who go to the U.S. these illegals in
Germany don't even take low paying jobs. They just drink and harass
the locals. His friends are resentful of paying higher taxes to pay
for these illegals. I guess the German government is afraid to clamp
down on these illegals for fear of being accused of being racists or
Nazis. I don't think this is a matter of Nazi or non Nazi. It is an
example of a failure of a welfare state. Someone from Scotland told me
of Poles who come to Britain and take jobs in the food service
industry. These Poles work at lower wages, taking jobs away from
locals. (At least some do, others go on welfare as in Germany). Let's
just say this Scot was not too happy. The Poles like British and
Germans are "white." So I don't think the resentment of these
illegals is based on "race" or skin color. This German/American who
told me of the situation in Germany does not hate all foreigners. He
even went out drinking with this one Russian lady. At least this
particular Russian was working and trying to make a life for herself.

My friend whose parents are from Croatia said he was embarrassed by
the Yugoslavians (when the country existed) he saw in Germany.
My impression is they were not the brightest or the best of
Yugoslavia. His uncle said those bad representatives were Serbs. But
who knows?

While I'm at it, I might as well mention this book I ran across. Have
not had time to read it in detail. It is entitled HITLER'S
BENEFICIARIES by Gotz Aly. The book is about the economic policies of
the Nazi era. Contrary to leftist propagandists, the Nazi's were
socialists. My friend, Mr. Taylor said a number of social programs in
Europe were originally introduced by the Nazis. I think this book
ties in with Mr. Taylor's point. The Nazis funded these social
programs by plundering other nations they conquered. In addition they
taxed wealthy people and businesses. But in spite of the plunder,
exploitation and taxes, the Nazi regime was constantly in danger of
running out of money. Leftist who say tax the rich,
won't tell you there aren't enough rich people to support these social
programs. They won't tell you that money does NOT grow on trees. I
wonder if they would advocate conquering and plundering other nations?
I doubt they would advocate plundering other nations, since these are
the same people who complain about the American "empire." Of course
if these tax the rich leftist believe in taxing the rich, why do they
exempt themselves from these taxes? Why did Kennedy allow for
loopholes in the Estate tax law, so his family could escape the tax?
If these rich leftist want to "soak the rich" why don't they fund
these social programs out of their own pocket? Why doesn't Kennedy pay
out of his own pocket? These social programs have hurt the economic
vitality of Europe. Moreover the social programs, which supposedly
helped the family, have not done anything to reverse the dangerously
low birthrate. If anything these programs may have contributed to the
decline.
