Libé puts labor developments up top: "EDF-GDF checks off 'no'". Specifically, these unions have rejected the reform retirement plans settled upon in negotiations in December for electric and gas workers, which could put the entire question of retirement back up for negotiation. This is really big news because internal polls at the beginning of the week indicated at least one of the unions would vote yes to the tune of 80%. What did all the mucky-mucks miss? We'll have to wait to see what the unions propose next for clues. Le Figaro, finance and business minded, also leads with "EDG-GDF: workers say "no" to reform." * * *
