Hmmmm. Wrong legs amputated was bad enough. But now this. Do doctors not look at files before operating anymore? Jeebus. I'm not privy to the process, but to miss something this fundamental... The last thing we checked before starting an experiment in my organic chemistry lab was to make sure we had the right equipment and the right chemicals so we wouldn't fill the lab with anything dangerous. Can such a basic step have eluded the practicioners of medicine at Duke University?
