McConnell, Graham Released From HospitalMcConnell, the No. 2 Republican in the Senate, was undergoing a routine screening last Friday when arterial blockages were found. He consulted with Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., a heart and lung transplant surgeon, before undergoing the procedure. [my italics]Which just goes to show, no matter how far you get as a doctor, your friends and acquaintances are still going to be looking for free medical advice. Though I suppose Frist did have an interest in the health of his second-in-command.
