Le Figaro: Here's a headline interesting for the premise and point of view from which it starts: Iraqi Guard does not succeed in barring way to Baghdad. Does that mean the Coalition broke through Iraqi lines? Coalition, what coalition? comes the reply. We're just worried that Saddam's defenses didn't hold. Libé: Libé does a little better in the headline department, with Fighting more ferocious on the approach to Baghdad. * * *
