At a conference in Toulouse, he assured that retirement reform was for the good of all and launched the next reform - social security (which over there refers to the health and welfare system). Le Figaro: Jacques Chirac engaged in reform effort. Le Figaro highlights the fact his speech for reform was in the first person singular; i.e. he's put himself on the line for this. Libé: Chirac appears and opens a new front. In the reform wars, that is, as mentioned above. Ouest-France: It was a nearly ordinary day for the Bac.
