Marcus says "I told you so" regarding excessive reliance on WMDs as justification for attacking Iraq. I agree that they relied too much on WMD, but am less troubled than others by any cynicism in the gambit; I think WMDs were more for European consumption than anything because, as we already know, Europe can't get excited about much of anything other than bureaucracies being ignored.* * *
