The Anti-Voter Opinion: It's time to start demonizing apathy and ignorance Actually, in a relatively free society where our freedoms and the stable transitioning between governments are assured by a well-run constitutional process, those without the time or inclination to get involved in politics should stay out. If your ox is being gored, do the research to find out why. Otherwise, if you're not interested, don't mess up a system relying on collective knowledge by casting an ignorant vote. Of course, if you're reading this, that's probably not you.
