Sen. Kerry: "Big Deal, some voted."While many are celebrating events in Iraq, Senator Kerry, who was recently defeated by President Bush, sounded a cautionary note:Big Deal, some voted. But were they the right people in the right places. People voted in the United States too. But am I president? Plainly not. And the person the Iraqis get for president may be the wrong one too. Voting is nice, but it's not democracy unless the right people vote in the right numbers in the right places. Otherwise, there's a cruel sort of disenfranchisement that elects the wrong leaders. Okay. That's a made up quote. You can tell it's not Kerry by the way it gets to the point without any digressions to demonstrate superior intelligence. To see Kerry's actual pooh-poohing and another take on it, go here.
